As the name suggests this is a meat place. On our first visit we both had the sliced beef (picanha steak). From long spits with six big chunks the outer slices very cut and served with a choice of additions at a reasonable price. The waiters kept coming back again and again and you could eat until you had to be rolled out of the restaurant. On our second visit we had a more ordinary main course. Both meals were very good. The charcoal grilled pineapple with cinnamon, a free dessert, was delicious. The place has a decent choice of wines, but really nothing out of the ordinary (but avoid the nondescript one called "sexy"). Varietal wines, which can be very good in Portugal, were not to be found on the wine list. The service was good and friendly -- far above the average. You should absolutely give it a try. Remember to book in advance.
