We stopped here on the way south to catch a ferry to France, and loved it so much we stopped again a week later on the way back north. A lovely old village pub, tastefully decorated, with friendly staff, a good range of Everard real ales and superb home-made food. I would not be ashamed to bring a French tourist here for a meal - I wish I could say that for all British pubs.
