Wonderful place, outdoors and indoors as well. Great food and house wine, too. Definitely place to visit.

Place is very nice, great food and the waiter is like a master of the Sintra. After visiting the Pena National Palace defenetly place to eat for fool experience.

Great meal, wonderful patio and view of the National Palace, perfect service. My steak was perfectly cooked and my wife's salad was literally a work of art (and delicious also).

This was my second favorite restaurant in Sintral

This place is beautiful and you can see that a lot of care has gone into the details.
It's gourmet - the food is very expensive and the tea is very high quality. The small "gourmet grocery shop" is also a good addition for any foodies out there.
Reccommend for a English-style high tea with small scones and Theodor tea.

My husband and I visited Sintra in January, 2013 and we stumbled upon Dom Lopo when we were lost and wandering around one night. What a great discovery! The setting is very atmospheric, with paintings on the wall and huge chandeliers. The food was delicious, especially the potato gratin and the fish soup that my husband had. The prices were reasonable and the service exceptional. Its worth nothing that we went there for dinner (not tea). Most of the other reviews mention tea time, but if you can go there for dinner, try it! You won't regret it!
