Traveling along a little road, it would be easy to miss the tiny parking lot and sign for Ursa Beach.
We parked in a small lot which has room for maybe 8 cars. Be warned that you should put all valuables or anything that could be construed as something valuable, in the trunk or take them with you. When we were there a car had been broken into while the owners took the long 25 minute trek down to the beach and the thieves knew they had alot of time. That being said... The beach is magnificent once you get there! No facilities at this beach, but that is what makes it so beautiful. Bring a nice lunch and enjoy. Truly breathtaking, literally too. Worth it, a must!! Should be in decent fitness shape.
Forgot to mention this is a optional nude beach.

“beautiful - you can get there also from Adraga”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

Most people get there from Cabo da Roca, but I did get there from Adraga Beach. About 2 hours if you go slowly like I did walking my dogs, but you can do it in 1 hour if you trek faster. Get good shoes and some water especially in the summer. Get some wind protection and sun, and dont go if there is rain, you are going very close to the cliff and the descent can be dangerous in wet conditions. Maximum height difference is about 90 meters with 3 ups/downs. Just near Praia da Adraga there is a big sink hole in the cliff, which worth the trek as well. Have fun.

“Unique place”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

The best way to enjoy Praia da Ursa is to walk from Cabo da Roca until Praia Grande or vice-versa. There are buses from Sintra or Cascais to both start/end of the walk. Bring good shoes with ankle support, there are some very steep cliffs. Don't do it in wet weather. Very "aerial", not for people with height problems. Getting to the beach it's not always very clear (in the last part) but there are at least two paths to get there (one a bit more tricky to find).

“a wild beach inside the cliffs”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

This is wild beach, barely known for most people. A sign stands 400meters before arriving to Cabo da Roca, with "Praia da Ursa" on it.
A pedestrian walk inside the cliffs, down almost 15 minutes, will led you to the beach.
Going back up will be worse, not easy walking.
Not recommended to swim, very rocky and careful with the cliffs.
If you want to spend a day there, take food and drinks, there's nothing down.

“unspoiled beach, hidden on the cliffs nearby Cabo da Roca”
Reviewed December 13, 2012

One of the most interesting beaches in Portugal, an unspoiled beach, hidden on the middle of the cliffs nearby Cabo da Roca.
Praia da Ursa is the Europe's Westernmost Beach, where Ursa means Bear.
The beach is small, without lifeguard and could be risky to swim without knowing the place.

You will have a 15-20 min walking down through the cliffs and returning back a bit more.
Nudism is allowed there, so be warned for that as well, probably you will find some nudists around.
Don't stay close to the cliffs when laying on the beach, as can be unsafe due rocks falling down.

After this warnings, go for it and enjoy, because the beach is gorgeous ;)
