Our stay at the Nova Sintra was brief but comfortable. Our room, No 10, was on the first floor and my heart sank when I first entered as it was small and tired looking. The room itself was small and basically furnished and the tiny bathroom could do with sprucing up but that being said the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. We loved the location being out of the busy tourist area and only a 15 min walk to the main attractions. Unfortunately the weather prevented us enjoying the terrace area which was one of the things that had drawn me to the hotel. Breakfast was very good and plentiful so overall, and taking in to account this is a 2 star hotel, I was satisfied with value for money albeit disappointed my room didn't live up to what is promised on the hotels website.
