We only stayed for one night to visit Sintra but it was very nice. It’s just a short drive to Sintra so that’s great. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Only thing missing for us was a hook to hang the shower head on.
The owner was very friendly. We actually got some fruit to-go during checkout from her own garden, very sweet!

Beautiful. Just a short drive outside Sintra, this lovely home, beautifully decorated with gracious hosts invites you to relax, enjoy and get comfortable. We were given the guesthouse with a considerably large sitting room and bedroom, modern bath. (No TV, for us this was not a problem. It was in a very quiet location and gave us lots of privacy. A delicious, multitude of items, including fresh, delicious cakes baked daily, and lots of fresh fruit for breakfast served on the patio overlooking the mountains with views of the castles or inside if weather requires. The inside of the home is tastefully decorated with period items. The hosts are very helpful and want you to enjoy and have what you need. I am mostly vegetarian and the host was very willing to work with me on that. Free, safe onsite parking. Restaurants a short drive. Sintra and its train station (for train into Lisbon - 45 minutes) is a short drive away. Sintra is fun to explore and the train into Lisbon is ideal if you want to avoid driving or parking in the city. The only downside was there was not an electrical outlet in the bath to plug in a hair dryer, or a mirror in another location near an outlet. A tip for train travelers, ask for a senior rate if you qualify, keep your card and it can be reloaded the next day with a minimal savings. Highly recommend.

Wow! It’s amazing! The atmosphere of the house is fantastic! It smells, no, it SMELLS wood! The furniture style reminds a museum :)
Good breakfast with a splendid view to all the sights of Sintra gives emotions for the rest of the day.
Highly recommend a room with a separate bathroom: it takes 3 meters to walk there, but it’s really large and comfortable.
Free parking in the territory.
Really friendly hosts, thank you for our pleasant stay!

We stayed in mid May. Stunning views up to the palace and castles. Easy to find and parking on site. English speaking hostess. Full breakfast plater from 9am. Children’s playground was basic and I’m not sure the slide worked, but it served its purpose.Restaurants in nearby town in walking distance.
