We visited this place before leaving Sintra, at the end of our one-day trip. We were a bit tired after the tour, looking for a simple place to have a coffee & sandwich late afternoon, and were lucky enough to discover Cafe Saudade, a former cheesecake factory with a cozy ambiance.
Coffee was good, service was excellent [we had two waiters, a girl from Romania and a guy from Cuba who gave us good pieces of advice and were very helpful]. We tried a vegetable soup and a sandwich that were both very tasty [local bread was fresh & tasty, too:)] and the desert/apple pie was excellent.
Very pleasant experience - highly recommended for a simple, laid-back break in Sintra !
