Xentra is just outside the main square near the palace in Sintra, near the tourism office. They have a menu à la carte, but they also have a 7.5€ buffet menu, which we tried out. The buffet included soup, some options of salads/entrées, bread, butter and six different dishes - Portuguese cuisine, naturally. The price also includes dessert, which consisted of canned fruit (peach and pineapple). The food was good - not amazing.
Although it can't be considered a refined meal it will let you fill your belly without having to wait for the usual things: menu brought to the table, choosing, waiting for your food, waiting for dessert, etc. Everything was clean and in order.
The restaurant itself is in what probably used to be a cellar, which means you need to go down a flight of stairs - not easy to access for everyone. They also have a bar right next to the restaurant.
