I went to this restaurant for the first time in a bright sunshine day, the view is gorgeous if you get lucky to get a table outside!
The starter was some bread and three butters ( tuna, olive and regular)
Than we had an amuse bouche from the chef, always a kind welcome.
We than ordered some scallops that were cooked to the point, well presented and delicious.
The main course was a ribeye stake, that was tender and tasty and cooked to the point , the fried potatoes with a delicious sauce and a fresh salad, outstanding! Another main course we tried was a octopus dish with mushrooms that was tender and also very tasty.
The recommended wine taken was good and not expensive.
The desserts, a tiramisu and a pear cooked in wine with ice cream and crumble, were good but not at the same level of the previous courses.
A meal to remember and repeat.
Some side observations, the crew in charge of the tables is very young and inexperienced but willing to please but still causing some unnecessary delays. The Restaurante has a private parking and is over the sea with a gorgeous view.
Also is the unique place in Setubal were you can eat different from usual grilled fish with a superb view!
