The dark red, rather forbidding exterior of the restaurant must not be allowed to deter potential customers. Inside, there is a warm welcome, good service, delicious traditional Portuguese food and great value for money. I entirely agree with the two previous reviews; it appears to be well frequented by local people. My wife and I had a very good two course (fish) lunch including wine for just over 10 Euros each. Located between Queluz-Belas railway station and the Palace, I highly recommend it for lunch before visiting the Palace (about 5 minutes walk away).
