I believe this is currently the best restaurant in Óbidos and i'm a regular visitor. It is not a 5 stars service but the staff is very kind and try to attend every request. Fair wine list (i suggest local red wines: "Quinta das Cerejeiras Reserva"). Visa and master card accepted. Concerning the food this restaurant speciality is the fish which is genuine sea fish and very fresh (some places in this region are selling pond fish as sea fish ... IT IS NOT THE SAME FLAVOUR NEITHER THE PRICE!). Grilled, fried, boiled ... just order it at your taste. I personally suggest the head of grouper grilled and flavoured with hot olive oil with garlic. YUMMY!! Also the fried fish with "açorda" (a stew of bread mashed with olive oil, garlic, cilantro and fresh egg). Another must is the "Cabrito Assado" (young goat roasted in the oven) but i suggest you order in advance because this is probably the most "desired" dish. It is recommended for children as they have very good steaks, burgers and those kind of kids preferences. Smoke is not allowed inside the restaurant. Price: 20€ -> 25 € per person, with starters, a good wine, main dish and desert.
Location: 1 km away from Óbidos center. If you're staying in the village you might walk to get there.
