Even in Portugal, things can change for the better. During the last month I´ve been to the Clube de Jornalistas several times and found that everything had improved. The food was much better, the XVIII architecture as beautiful as ever and the service prompt. I went there again for dinner yesterday. My husband and I chose a table in the garden. The climate was fantastic and the tables were all occupied. The feeling of being in a desolate place had disappeared. Since the garden, as well as the inside restaurant, is quite big there was no possibility of intrusion on one´s conversation or indeed noise or muzak. They deserve my praise. I ´m glad to be able to write this.
