Its very crowded but its worth the wait. The crust was very crispy and the custard taste just perfect (not too sweet and the its not to wet or dry). Tried other egg tart else where but they werent as good compare to here.

Thank Kenneth L

It is near Belem and Torre de Belem. We waited about 20 minutes but it was worth it. Pasteis de belem came hot and soft inside and we loved the taste.

We made the trip to Belem just to go to Casa Pasteis De Belem and have the "real deal" of a pastel de nata, the tarts that can be found in most pastry shops and even Starbucks. The place was packed, but not to be dissuaded we waded into the crowd to discover what looked like a small place was quite large with numerous rooms and very attentive waiters managing the constant turnover of tables. Well worth a short wait, the pastel de nata, order several, arrive crispy on the outside with the egg custard still warm, add a touch of cinnamon, powdered sugar, and after one bite words aren't enough to describe the experience. Just do it!!

Great place to have a pastel de nata the Belem version ;-) Feel like a real tourist but is deffinately worth it! Love these cakes and have never met anybody that doesn´t like them! Make sure to take your time and have a seat inside in staid of standing in the cue....
