“Nice apartment but luggage storage an issue”

I stayed here with friends over the weekend. The girl who met us to give us the key was very friendly and helpful. She showed us around the apartment and helped us with directions and general infomation. She did inform us on check-in that storage was not possible on our day of departure but we could avail of the tourist office facility which was about a 10/15 minute walk away-a little surprising as I never had this experience before. We paid out late arrival fee of 20 euro on arrival (we arrived after 10pm) which is in the fine print when booking but wasn't something noticed until after I had booked and the landlord informed me.
The apartment is very clean and quiet. There's no AC but we didn't find it too hot given the time of year(early oct). The windows can't really be left over as it's a ground floor which faces on to the street.
We didn't use the kitchen and dining facilities but it is well stocked in terms of plates etc.
When we left we were again informed we could leave our luggage at the nearby tourist office by the person who collected the key. However on arrival to the tourist office they informed us that they don't provide a bag storage service. Instead they gave us details of another company which was about 20 minutes away. We did try the nearby train station first but the few lockers they have were all full. We had to trek to the storage offering which the tourist office directed us to. That cost 6 euro per bag for a max of 6 hours. It wasn't the cost so much but the time of the day we lost that was our issue. By the time we had checked out the various options we had lost a good 1.5-2 hours of our day which was very disappointing as we only were in Lisbon for 2 nights and we had limited time to see everything we wanted to. Bag storage is a common request from visitors and I have never had this experience when booking an apartment before but I will be checking in future or else staying in a hotel.
At the very least I would expect the information being provided is accurate so that drop off is quick and easy.

Dear guest, thanks very much for your review. This is very useful/helpful for the improvement of the service.
I totally understand the importance of the luggage storage issue, namely being a traveller myself.
As a professional host, it is something hard to manage, namely at peak or shoulder season, with always guests in and out (which was your case, another visitors coming after your depart).
After a check-out, the place is immediately clean and prepared for the next group and the check-out and in hours are defined according to the time the cleaning team needs to do their work. And while they do it I can't have other people's belongings in.
Now I can assure the tourism office had provided that service until now, it is a negative surprise for me that you no longer do so. I have always reccomended to my visitors their service, especially being close to my place and cheap, and they have said to me after that they were happy with the solution. I will for sure get in touch with the tourism office and make a complaint. Perhaps it was something temporary? We will see...
Regarding the fee for checking-in after 22:00, it is advertised where the website allows me to do so and I appreciate your comment about it being somehow not highlighted enough. I will investigate about if it is possible and how to highlight it better, although I honestly doubt it. The fee is to cover extra costs for staff to be at the place for checking-in visitors after a work day, thank you for understanding that.
