Wine lovers take note. This boutique hotel has lovely rooms at a great value in a great location. Funky decor adds a bit of charm to the rooms. Staff are very attentive and go out of their way for guests. Don't miss the restaurant. It has a very good GM/sommelier (Bruno) who provides wonderful wine service for the their excellent food. Wonderful beautiful hotel in the heart of lisbon. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the castle. Really beautiful rooms with great views. This hotel is in a great location in Rossi Square, which is close to all the sights and the metro. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are new. We upgraded to a suite with a view and had a good amount of space and a great view of Rossi Square and the castle on the hill beyond. It is a good value play. The only negative is the breakfast is simple and you pay 10 euros per person extra for it.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had a wonderful stay and can't recommend it enough.
All the staff were polite, courteous and helpful.
The two things we look for in a city break are location and cleanliness.
The room was cleaned to a high standard every day and the location was fantastic.
Lisbon is a wonderful, friendly city with a lot to offer - culture, history and fantastic restaurants.
We plan on returning to Lisbon and won't hesitate in staying at My Story Rossio again.

Family stayed in a double and a twin. Great rooms, modern, fresh, new and funky. Good power showers in tight but function bathrooms. Key is the location, it is perfect and right where you want to be to spend two days walking Lisbon.
Two recommendations -
Breakfast staff need to get up earlier and have a welcoming smile.
Better security on the main door. I would be concerned that if someone really wanted to cause problems they could too easily stroll in. It would take a lot of nerve but possible to walk in, not at night but during daylight a tad too lax.
Net net. I would go back.

We really enjoyed to read your review about your recent stay at My Story Hotel Rossio. it's true that we are located in the probably most important square of Lisbon but to be honest we want to be much more than a very well located hotel. We want to make the difference showing our passion for Lisbon and serve our guests.
Saying this we dully noted your remarks about the breakfast and please accept my sincere apologies. The opening time of the breakfast is mandatory however in sometimes a problem might arise and delay the opening in 5/10 minutes. The team in a bad mood we cannot accept at all and I can assure you that we already had meeting with the breakfast team and was promised that will not happen again.
Our hotel has CCTV and so far we never had any security problem. Let me thank you again for your words which are very helpful to improve the service and alert us to be more aware with some situations.
Also thank you for your recommendation and we are looking forward to the pleasure of welcoming you again at My Story Hotels in the near future.
