Description: About the restaurant Casa da Morna and Semba Sharing culture, music and cuisine. Located in Alcântara, Casa de Morna and Semba presents itself as the ideal space to contact the Angolan and Cape Verdean cultures. The space is large and bright, with wooden floors and white walls adorned with colorful paintings. The name of the restaurant is allusive to two types of musical styles: Semba, originally from Angola, and Morna, from Cape Verde. Also the kitchen is in agreement with the name, with entrances such as Pastéis de Milho and Meia Ndungo, dishes like Moqueca de Camarão, Calulu de Peixe, Moamba de Ginguba, Cachupa and Funje de carne seca. With live music, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays the Casa da Morna and Semba is always a lively and attractive space.

Specialized restaurant in Capo-Verdian food. We had a cachupa and tuna-beef, everything very good.
The waiter was very nice and helpful, and at the end the there was music, but not as a concert, as if we were in family.
It's very frequented by people from capo-verte, and it feels like a very authentic place. Prizes are affordable, and booking could be a good idea.
