“we were looked after”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

A small restaurant featuring Brazilian food. The proprietor can speak great English but we heard him speaking other languages to other customers too. We were made to feel at home and could relax and our waiter took a lot of trouble over my intolerance to gluten. The menu is small but we were steered to a special which was thinly cut steak, very tasty black beans in sauce, rice, and small baked potatotes filled with mayonnaise. They offer more when youve finished the first lot - and they don't seem to charge more if you have 'seconds'. The meal was cooked to perfection and we enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day to have the same meal. We also had a delicious mango mousse for dessert (gluten free).

“Average food.”
Reviewed April 29, 2012

The only dish available is picanha, with all the sides they use in Brazil. The meat is ok and the sides are also ok. It's situated in a street with a very serious parking problem.
The decor is very average, not impressive at all. Price very moderate

“good wine list, short menu”
Reviewed December 19, 2011

Impressive wine list, less impressive food.
Nice little restaurant, traditional decor.
Only four main dishes in the menu, and if I remember correclty an other 3-4 starters. Average food quality.
We were there rather late, which seemed to upset the waiting staff.
Advice: if you are passing by with a big group of friends go in for a wine tasting and don't have high expectations for food.

“Tasty Meal”
Reviewed November 14, 2011

Very limited menu with meat cooked Brazilian style, beef, veal or fish. Very tasty meat and sides to the beef dish were also interesting (except for manioc) for those like us unfamiliar with the style. Very cheap house wine excellent. Desserts OK. E53 all up not super cheap but not expensive either.
