What a spectacular way to enjoy a special evening, whether staying at the Four Seasons or just coming for dinner. Quiet and tucked away overlooking the terraces and park this restaurant would be perfect for a proposal, birthday or just a Saturday night dinner. We ate here Saturday night with another couple. We were seated immediately with an 8pm reservation. We started with a bottle of Cabernet and cocktails. They brought over 2 large baskets of different breads and bread sticks and we ordered 4 starters to share. I saw that the night before the chef's starter recommendation was risotto and asked if he could make that for me tonight, of course that was no problem. For the main course we each had fish, 3 seabass and 1 grouper. Everything was cooked perfectly and we had no less than 4-5 waiters/helpers waiting on us at any one time, refilling water, slowly decanting the wine, whatever we needed... We had the creme brulee and chocolate sacher cake for dessert and it was plenty to share. The room itself is beautifully decorated, great lighting, great service, everything was just as you would imagine from the Four Seasons. Our bill was $525 Euros plus tip. Highly recommended!

Overlooking Eduardo VII Park and the Hotel's terraces, the Varanda Restaurant features a rich variety of French-style cuisine as well as some authentic and diverse Portuguese dishes. We were offered a very French, multi-course gourmet tasting meal of seafood and meats, accompanied by special Portuguese wines. We began with an Amuse Bouche of foam celery with roasted red mullet with truffle condiment. The first appetizer was ObsiBlue prawn, and the second appetizer scallops with caviar Baeri. Then came the first course: roast cod with miso and seaweed salad and crunchy vegetables, followed by a second course of poularde (a specially fattened chicken) de Bresse, with lemon gnocchi and green asparagus. This amazing meal ended with a fabulous desert of made of cheese Bavaroise. Fantastique!

This is one of the Best restaurants in Lisbon. Beginning with the beautiful decor and ambience, together with a profissional and attencious service and finíssima with a 6 star food quality and presentation.
I always have the buffet where you can find fresh seefood, gourmet amouse bouche, sushi and portuguese tradicional food. You also can have a nice cheese selection and wonderfull deserts.
You can find a nice wine selection but the prices are a bit raised despite the high quality.
It really deserves a visit and you'll have a wonderfull experience!
