In centre of Lisbon there are many touristic restaurant but few traditional ones; A Primavera do Jeronimo is really traditional!
The staff, extremely kind, explained us the various dishes present on the menu and we decided to try bachalau a bras, one of the most famous portuguese plate that we already tasted the previous dinner. This one was fantastic, fine flavoured and cooked.
The price are also convenient; I sincerely advise this restaurant!!!

We went there on our last night in Lisbon and had a wonderful evening. The hosts were warm and friendly, the prices reasonable and the food was great, especially the desserts. It's a tiny little place and we arrived early, but it had filled up by the time we left - but the small size means that you get genuine attention. Really recommended...

We decided to eat at this restaurant after a long journey in Bairo alto. It is the smallest restaurant I ever eat but the atmosphere is really nice. We eat very good tipical portughese dish. But the desert was great! Don't leave the place without trying cheese cake and chocolate cake. There are the best desserts I ever eat!!!

Good food, nice service, not too touristy. Too bad you cannot sit outside. Cozy place. When we were there there were not many other people but the place started to fill up at 22h. Tables are close to each other. Definitely a nice spot to go to if you want something authentic.

A cozy family restaurant with great food. For starter we had clams with garlic and coriander, very fresh and the portion was generous. The Bacalhau and stuffed squid were great as well. Dinner time is late in Portugal, we went at 8pm on Friday night without a reservation, the place was still empty so we got a table. But the tables filled up quickly at around 9pm. Service was great and the portions were generous. Highly recommended.
