“Real Italian”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

This is probably our favourite restaurant which is saying a lot when we are in Lisbon. This small plce takes pride in serving good food and giving great service. It is a little hard to find if you visit for the first time but well worth it. It is at Rua D. Gremio Lustiano almost opposite the Largo T. Coelho. Take a chance to find this because they have some great pizza and pasta beginning at 8.50 - 12.00 Euros for Lasagne with some good house wines. The service is attentive and the food lovingly prepared.

“Simple but very tasty”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

Enjoyed a lovely meal in this little unassuming restaurant. Shared the garlic bread and an aubergine dish to start, both were simple but lovely. I had lasagne for mains which was nice but my other half had their seafood with squid ink tagliolini which was one of the best seafood pasta dishes we've ever had. The prices were fair and service lovely.

“Too expensive - food/taste boring”
Reviewed August 14, 2011

never paid 11euro for such a medium-sized and taste-boring pizza before in my life, gilrfriend had spaghetti with sauce, nothing special but taste-boring too.
service fast and okey but pricey, even the restaurants in the real "tourism" distrtict between rossio and baixa-caidho to restaurandos only ask 7-9euro for such a pizza.

Although it was a very busy night, the waitress who spoke excellent English was very attentive and always asked if we wanted anything as she went passed, we both opted just for garlic bread to start and the Americana pizza. Others in the restaurant had the pasta dishes which looked really good. The garlic bread was served quickly and piping hot, light bread and good garlic butter flavour. The pizzas were nice and crisp plenty of topping. We had quite a few beers and coffees, the total bill was €47 which wasn't bad at all. We will be going back and trying the pasta dishes
