“The best sauce ever eaten...”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

It's hard to say which is the best.. if is the sauce, the french fries or l'entrecote (medium/well).. or even the salad before main course :-) Warm environment, very professional people to serve and to advise you anytime. Strongly recommended.

“For beeflovers only”
Reviewed February 13, 2014

This restaurant only serves one dish but it is very well done.
Entrecote (sirloin) with bearnaise sauce and fries. NO OTHER DISHES.
But is was very well done so i will definately go there again.
The service is friendly and efficient, and i liked that they passed with very hot french fries various times were regularly you get luke warm fries served in Portugal, and i like my fries HOT.

“Nice Way To End Our Visit”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

We went here for our last night in Lisbon having unsuccessfully tried to get in on New Year's Eve. It was just really nice. Decent starter - I had the salmon salad, the rest just greens. Then steak and fries - one of us had the vegetarian option with which she was very happy. We took a bottle of recommended wine which went down well and one of us had room for some dessert.

Our waiter was nice, chatty, informal and funny. The place looks classy, but is not pretentious. I would recommend this for everyone from families with kids, to couples.

“A total let down”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

We had a family dinner a few days ago and were really disappointed. By the time we arrived the place was far from full. Given that they have a set menu (entrecôte with french fries and two salad options) we expected service to be efficient and rather quick. Wrong! When the food finally arrived, one serving dish came with a (bad) surprise: one long hair floating over the sauce!! The waitress took the food back without apologizing and the service coordinator was not notified. As a result, another long wait and guests who had arrived later were being served ahead of us. By then kids and adults were getting impatient. Things went better after a word with the manager but the fries were a bit soggy and the meat rather tasteless. The wine list does not offer much variety but their recommendation was a good one. The quality-price ratio is poor.

“Great steak and wonderful sauce”
Reviewed November 26, 2013

Had a great meal here starting with the salmon salad and then on to the steak with endless chips.

Food and service were good and the sauce over the steak was wonderful and herby. Would come back next time we are in Lisbon. It obviously follows a Swiss/French classical format but that is not a bad idea. Selection of wine was also good.
