This is a charming tapas bar situated in the picturesque Alfama district which is well worth a visit.
We enjoyed some cheese and salami and bread and two excellent local beers from the Sovina brewery which were well priced at 3 euros. The Urraca IPA was also very good.
The owner was charming and the bar is clean and tidy and feels like a typical authentic bar.
Please try to visit!

Found this place just as we despaired of finding the little "hole in the wall" we were hoping for. Very small little place, VERY clean (important criteria), simple Portuguese fair at lovely prices, kind staff. Worth seeking out or not passing up if you're nearby.

Only 5 tables in this tiny cafe, but excellent coffees, drinks and sandwiches/salads. We spent almost an hour here for lunch. They even have free wifi that works reasonably well.

Must see/try!

It's all what you need for your break before to continue walking and exploring the surrounds of Lisbon.

The first time we stopped here was for a cooling beer in the small square opposite the café. The service was so impressive we called again for lunch a few days later. Enjoyed a really tasty goats cheese toastie, tuna and chick pea salad, and bottle of wine for under 15 euro. The place is not big but has a lovely authentic atmosphere with friendly elderly Portuguese calling in for coffee while we ate.
