We happened upon Medrosa dÁlfama while lost in the narrow pedestrian only streets of old Alfama. We shared a tomato salad, cheese and cured ham tapas with their house vino tinto outside in a tiny cobblestoned square. By luck, a neighbouring restaurant was providing outdoor Fado while we there, so we were treated to several songs each by a female and male performer. We visited on a Friday night about 7:30 pm - not sure if the Fado is a nightly/weekly event.

Really simple and casual spot that is perfect for a casual meal. I had the chickpea and cod salad and the goat cheese and tomato toast. I didn't realize the plates would be so big since the prices were so low. Definitely ordered too much but it was all delicious. Highly recommended.

love the decor of this place and the very relaxed vibe it puts you in. i had a goats cheese and walnut and honey toast which was very well done- delicious sour bread to contrast with the topping. the tea served was also delightful!

Wine an tapas "vinhos e peticos" spot in alfama, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Lisbon. Sit outside ask for a wite chilled white wine and a plate of cured ham and cheese and relax in a pedestrian only street.

Walked past this little bar with tiny terrace and stopped because they had local craft beer displayed in the window. We had an IPA and stout like beer. They tasted great.

Friendly staff that speak English and you can pay with debet / credit card.
