Everyone at Oasis was very friendly and very helpful, without all of their tips we definitely would not have had as memorable of a trip to Lisbon! Our room on the top floor had an amazing view of the city and the river, rooftop balcony, and was very clean/comfortable. the common area/outdoor terrace is great, as well as the bar and kitchen! Bruno's day trip was also awesome, he shared all of his knowledge of the surrounding area and showed us the best spots, so glad we chose Oasis for our weekend in Portugal!

I can't say enough good things about this hostel... I was planning on staying here for three days but wound up spending a week instead. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, great location (3-minute walk to Bairro Alto). I don't know about the dorm rooms, but my private room was quiet and spacious. A malfunctioning shower head was fixed promptly. The common room has a really laid-back vibe, usually with people surfing the internet and having a few drinks. I made some really, really great friends staying at this place. I will definitely be back! I highly, highly recommend this place--you won't be disappointed!

Our group was 5 people, and we stayed in another flat down the street from the main building. It was great. I felt like we had our own apartment in Lisbon. The staff was super helpful, especially Marta. She was awesome and always took the time to answer our questions or show us locations on a map. We also ate dinner twice in the hostal, which again, was exceptional; a lot of food for a really good price. It felt more like staying with family than simply staying at a hostal.
