After looking into the various options available for biking the Camino, I selected Bikeiberia and I cannot state enough how pleased I was with my decision.
Communication with the Bikeiberia staff, especially Tania, was easy and excellent.
The bikes were waiting for us at the hotel in Ponferrada and fitted out as I requested.
They were high quality mountain bikes by Giant with 30 speeds in excellent condition, tuned up, and ready to go.

We proceeded west and over the next several days climbed the mountain at O Cebreiro, and rode down to Sarria. The bikes performed better than expected and made the trip quite enjoyable.

In Sarria we received urgent news calling us back to the USA and cancelling our plans to finish our Camino. Bikeiberia helped out by picking up our bikes in Sarria rather than in Santiago de Compostela three days later as planned.

We are looking forward to returning next year to finish our Camino and I will be sure to rent our bikes from Bikeiberia again. I heartily endorse Bikeiberia for your Camino biking needs.

These guys were great. We didn't have our passports with us and they arranged for the hotel to scan them over so we could have our half day hire. They gave us some great hints and tips and the bikes were faultless. Thanks again for a great afternoon in Lisboa.

We rented bikes for a day trip to Belém. Bikes were in good condition, value for money was okay, very friendly staff, we definitely recommend!

The cost to rent two bikes was 14 Euro each. The staff was helpful and friendly and gave us some good advice and suggestions before the ride. However, when the bikes came out I was amazed at how poor the condition of both were. The rear tire of the bike I rode was completely bald. The bell on the handlebars almost fell of more than a few times during the ride. I guess we could have paid extra for the premium bikes but our ride was a simple flat course that did not require a Mountain Bike. In the end the bikes worked, but I still felt they were not well maintained and overall were not rental quality bikes, especially for the price.

Since we are seniors, comfort is very important to us. We paid extra for the premium bikes (20 euros per day )and the bikes were comfortable and in great condition. They provided us with helmets and a lock. The staff was friendly and they made everything so easy. The bike shop is so close to the bike path that runs along the riverfront. We thoroughly enjoyed our bike adventure and biked to Belem and back with no problems.
