“Seeing the real Lisbon with a great guide and personal service”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

BikeIberia did a personalized ½ day tour for us. They delivered the bikes and guide to our hotel at Parque das Nações outside of town so we could bike from there to downtown. It’s an easy bike ride with stops at the many interesting landmarks. Couple of hills closer to town, but worth the effort as you go through typical neighborhoods you would never see on foot. Just a great way to see the city.
BikeIberia does a great service for groups, our guide had a “bike technician” with her in case bikes broke down. And guess what, my bike had a 1 out of a million incident: broken chain, and within 15 min after that we experienced 2 flat tires. The bike technician fixed it within minutes (yes even the chain) and saved our afternoon. Big THANKS for a fun afternoon.

“Best way to see Lisbon”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

Nothing beats a bicycle for seeing a new city - you can cover so much more ground than you can by walking, but you're not isolated from your surroundings the way you are in a car. The staff gave super directions and service - thanks to them, I was able to see the Tejo, plus get all the way to the Nautical museum and get to try some pastries that the city is famous for making. It took a little longer than I predicted, but the kind folks here didn't charge me extra for the extra time I was using the bike. Also, everyone I dealt with spoke English - which made the transactions easy for me, as I was trying to learn Portuguese on the fly.

“Bike Hire Lisbon”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

The staff were super friendly and the bikes were in good condition. I recommend upgrading for suspension, gears and a good seat.
But the check-in did take a while, so give yourself ample time if you're planning on catching a ferry or train at a certain time. They let you keep it overnight (as long as it's inside) so you don't have to have it back my the early curfew.
