We stayed at this hotel in late May and early June of 2017 for 3 nights. The location of this hotel is very good -- it is on Rua Aurea where all the shops are, and very close to the Santa Justa Lift which will take you to upper town (although we actually never took the lift and always preferred to walk and explore). You can easily walk to the river and Praca do Comercio, etc. If you like to take day trips by train, the Rosio location may be better though.
The hotel room is pretty clean. Our only complaint is that it is small. This is probably understandable considering its location, but still we could barely find space to put down our luggage, etc., and the sink in the bathroom is tiny, as is the shower.
Overall we liked the location of this hotel but just wish we had a little more space in the room.More
