From the moment we checked in we felt welcomed and at home. The staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The rooms very comfortable and lovely. Breakfast and evening port delicious. I mentioned that we were celebrating my husband's birthday and the next morning they told us there was a bottle of bubbly for us whenever we were ready. Patricia suggested a great place for lunch, Pinocchios (sp?) which we thoroughly enjoyed. Andre made dinner reservations for us. The rest of the staff was equally helpful. A beautiful city and hotel! I highly recommend the Heritage Av. Liberdade.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the front of the building.

This hotel have something many big city hotels lack: character. It`s boutique style and spins around their tea-bar theme. The rooms big (most of them) with high ceeling and nice bathrooms. The uniqueness gives you a bit of luxurious feeling and the price is not to bad either.

Good breakfast. For dinner you want to go to one of the near by fish restaurants. One the locals prime choice restaurant is locates just a short walk from the restaurant (left around the corner and to the end of the street)

If your looking for a place for a romantic weekend in Lisbon, this would be a very safe choice.

Just come back from a long weekend at this lovely hotel in Lisbon. Location is great, staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good - you help yourself to fresh juices, coffee and a Continental breakfast. In the evening, it is a lovely placely to sit and enjoy a drink before going out for a meal. Rooms are very clean and in the bathroom there are Molton Brown shampoos, wash and body lotion. There is a gym in the basement together with a swimming pool which is extremely small - so if you are a strong swimmer, then it's not for you!
Would recommend this hotel for business and couples - would not recommend for families. And if you haven't been to Lisbon before, can I recommend that you take sturdy shoes with soles with some grip - I speak from experience! I slipped a number of times with flat pumps on as the paving is quite slippy.

...what more can I say? I loved this hotel and can't wait to return in a few short months. I stayed in 6 different hotels over my 7 day trip to Lisbon earlier this month for the sole purpose of locating a host hotel for a destination wedding. We found it with Hertiage Av Liberdade. The location is great conveniently located within walking distance to numerous restaurants, upscale shops, transportation and museums. The staff was helpful and although I never ate breakfast it looked as good as breakfasts at the other Heritage Properties. I stopped down to the lap pool for a few minutes and relaxed. What a surprise amenity in the heart of the city. I hope you consider any of the Heritage properties but this amongst the best, although Britana is a very close second.

Wonderful hotel, very well located. The hotel staff really seemed to care about the quality of our stay and were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The lobby was a little dark but had a nice ambience with a library area and comfortable seating. The room was cleaned to a high standard and beautifully presented. We were fortunate to be on the top floor and absolutely loved the patio doors opening to a small balcony with amazing views. Windows are double glazed, with full length shutters so we had a fantastic nights sleep. Very comfy beds. The room was bright, spacious and had full of character and charm. As we got more familiar with Lisbon the more we appreciated what a fantastic location we were in. The station to catch the train to Sintra was within easy walking distance and would highly recommend a trip there. Would rate hotel as an absolute must for any couple considering a weekend break.

Room Tip: Room no 45 was simply stunning great views off main street
