It's a fantastic Regional restaurant with great food and a super enthusiastic and helpful staff. Good prices, mainly if you choose the lunch menu, 7.5€/person.

This very friendly restaurant is owned and managed by a family from the central region of Portugal. The products and the receipts are also from that region. The food is really tasteful and the ambiance warm and friendly. You feel at home in here.

This restaurant just opened a few months ago. My husband and I just happened to walk by, and decided to take a look. It is on the second floor of the building, so not as visible as other restaurants, but is large and has an outdoor patio. The owner's mother is the chef. The owner speaks English, but does not have an English menu. So we just asked him to bring us what they consider typical food for the area. He brought us course, after course. He brought us tapas, which is toasted fresh bread with different toppings, then brought us bread with cheese and sugar coated, which he said is one of his Mom's specialties. The main course was a type of meat loaf- not sure what it translates to, with a side of chick peas with herbs, and olive oil. We got a bottle of white wine, and again left the choice up to the owner, and loved his choice. Since we were the only people in the restaurant, we had excellent food, service, and conversation with a local. For a very special experience, try this out. The price was right, too, about 50 Euros for all the food and wine.

Staff are very kind. Very topical decor and the food is excellent. We can eat and/or by some typical products from the Beira Baixa region. I recommend the cheese, olive patê and regional sausages.
