“a great way to get around”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

We travelled on many trams to avoid going up the hills and found them to be a fun way to see the city. The 28 is a hoot but can get crowded so pick your time, probably not when school finishes as lots of kids take the tram home.

“so much fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2012

We went on the red tram tour to start with to get our bearings .Then we got a Lisbon card and went all over , the trams in the centre of the city are all Edwardian period pieces . The funiculars Gloria , Bica ,Lavra and the others are fun and very necessary - this is one hilly city. Best of all is the Elavador Santa Justa in the middle of town ; just go see it and you will see what we mean . Use the trams whenever you can . If you need any help the best Tourist Info is near the Rossio main line station.

“Fun City!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2012

Lisbon truly is the San Francisco of Europe! The city is wonderful to explore and a 48 hour pass gets you everywhere at little cost!

“No 12 Tram to the Castle”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2012

A fun experience that takes the hill climb out of play. You can walk down from the top in about 30 minutes - v slowly - so don't bother with the return journey unless you are injured or have a walking disability. FYI when you get off there's still a good few yards to climb to get to the castle. Injured and elderly may prefer a taxi.

“Avoid Elevador da Glória”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2012

Elevador da Glória - a very short trip. Not worth the money. Almost comical. Rather take a ride on tram 28 - much nicer
