“Great value and location”

Some really interesting eateries in the area but the best thing of all is that a lidl supermarket is directly opposite so if you are on a budget this is ideal,I was reluctant to ask the very helpful staff it was ok to have a beer or two in the back garden,so I just did. It is near to the train station for Petra, which is an added bonus, and the restaurant next door,Bella Lisa, cannot .be recommended highly enough. The one thing that would improve the experience greatly,if a few sighns were placed in the corridors asking people to keep their loud early morning conversations to themselves,it was so annoying to be woken early by these idiots. Silence Please!!!

The rooms were well set up and service was nice here. Breakfast was included and we could access the wifi from our room on the first floor. The window to our room was an internal area of the hotel looking onto other rooms. The hotel was a good distance from the city centre so it made using the metro a necessity - you need to use the linah azul (blue line) and get the right exit, it's a little complicated if you enter or exit in the wrong place so do keep it in mind where you're headed.

Why I gave this hotel a low rating is because of the poor sleep quality I got. I could hear the people next door talking, walking and showering, npt to mention people above us too. The bed was also extremely hard, much too hard for me to get a decent sleep on and i woke with a sore back. The air conditioning remote also didn't work, which meant turning the unit on manually and accepting whatever temperature it was set at. I would not stay here again.

Rooms here were nice, quite compact though, and the shower was small (which I've also found in quite a few european hotels/hostels, so this seems to be par for the course). I stayed here for two nights in a twin room as part of an Intrepid tour. Intrepid hotel/hostel locations are usually quite good, but I found this one too far away from the city center and it wasn't in a particularly interesting area.

Hotel Italia is located within a short walking distance of the Gulbenkian and Modern Art Gallery in Lisbon. It was clean, close to restaurants and main accesses to the hop-on-hop-off bus. Unfortunately, in spite of the efforts of helpful staff, we were unable to access the internet. Apparently this was very unusual. There was internet on the main floor in the small room close to the breakfast room. The staff was great!

I stayed in the hitel while coming back from Spain. It is basic but has everything you might need. The bed is comfortable, air conditioning works perfectly and the bathroom is clean. The receptionist Claudia was very friendly and offered some advice on what to visit in Lisbon. The price of €39 was just great and the location in the centre was very convenient.
