“Beautiful”

Go by tranvia. You can spend there whole the morming visiting Torre de Belem, Monasterio de los Jeronimos and Monumento de los Descubridores. You can taste the pastel of Belem. Relax walking along the river and the parks.

“Fairytale white tower on water”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2014

A pretty white stone fairytale fort and tower stuck into the water with water on all four sides at high tides.

You can enter - there’s a fee - when it’s open, do check, and morning city coach tours seem to time it to arrive before it opens in the morning – presumably so passengers can’t delayed inside.

Can get very crowded.

“Wonderfull place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2014

Just Been there makes you go to the back to those days of kings and princess it's just astonishing place, on the beach, who had a castle with a private beach...? Incredible place, we loved it and want to go back again, believe or not, we spend the whole day the first day, and half day the second, on top of that makes you feel better listening the Latin music form and street artist, makes things better... The guy it's incredible play his music and sell CDs... Also close to the momument of war and museum, simply... astonishing...!! The best place I highly recommend.... Take water, lunch, because the restaurant close by is quite expensive..... And after that... Enjoy..!!!

“The symbol of Lisbon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2014

The Torre de Belem, Discovery Monument and Jeronimos monastery can be covered in a day. We were a little underwhelmed with the Torre de Belem after seeing the Jeronimos monsatery. So try and keep Jeronimos for last to enjoy the Torre. The views are lovely!

“Must see”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2014

The Tower of Belem is one of the best-known historical landmarks of Portugal. The tower seen from outside is beautiful, huge, and really impressive. A must visit when in Lisbon along with the Jeronimos monastry. Also we enjoy to take the historical tram 28 while we are in Lisbon. We discovered also a big market hall which is not used any more and when coming closer there was a senior dancing competition on the 1st floor.
