The room was very modern with even glazed glass doors for the shower and toilet. Sort of kinky. Even though it is 5 minute walk along the road to the airport to avoid the bumpy sidewalk cobblestones there is no airline noise. The room has multi light controls as well. There is free WiFi using your room number as the user name and last name as your password which makes it simple. Many language TV with maybe 4 in English. Free breakfast.

We couldn't find any signs to the hotel in the airport terminal building. Google maps came to the rescue, but only after we'd initially headed off in the wrong direction. Ambled down the hill with luggage to the hotel, which is clearly visible if you exit the terminal via the correct door ...

So, proximity to the airport is certainly good for a night stopover in Lisbon. However, the queue to check in was incredibly slow. And once up in the room observations were: it's a bit cramped. Some furniture is looking a bit chipped. There appeared to be no kettle or tea/coffee etc and just one bottle of drinking water for multiple guests, which seemed rather tight to say the least given the room was 170 Euros a night. Neither did there appear to be an international electric socket for non-Portuguese plugs. Finally, the double glazing is not excellent and the road side of the building was noisier than we would have liked, even close to midnight.

All in all, this place wins for location if you're on an overnight stopover and don't want to head downtown. The food is not terrible but my view is the room is entirely underwhelming if considered in terms of value for money. Wouldn't rush back.

Smallish rooms but great location right at the airport. Excellent gym with plenty of equipment. Everything at the hotel has bee "cutified" to signal air travel is fun. Driver of the hotel van was very friendly and oh so nice.

Stayed at the Tryp Lisboa Aeroporto Hotel in mid-October, and the location couldn't have been better. My husband & I walked the 4 mins. from the Airport Metro stop to the hotel so, unless you have a lot of luggage, there's no real need to call and request the shuttle.

We had a very early flight the next morning - before the shuttle started running at 6 am -- but it was easy to make the short walk back to the terminal before dawn.

Accommodations are VERY modern but comfortable enough. And the staff couldn't have been nicer. Would definitely stay her again if we return to Lisbon and need to be close to the airport.

No real nearby food options (other than the hotel restaurant). So we took the Metro 3 stops to the Oriente station where there are lots of restaurant options at the next door mall and close by. (Separate review posted for O Clube do Hamburguer, the restaurant we chose for our final dinner in Portugal.)

A Wyndham property literally steps from the airport. Easy walk even rolling your luggage. Clean and modern hotel with very good breakfast and nice bar with a reasonable lunch. Also 100 meters to Metro stop with only one transfer to reach the historic center of Lisbon where we enjoyed a drink at the Park bar located on the top floor of a parking garage-really! King bed very comfortable and a huge bathtub along with a separate shower. Luxurious surprise at the end of out vacation.
