This restaurant responds to a typical trend in Lisbon: Poor service, boring food and a pricey bill.
Located in a busy street, the restaurant will offer a noisy and bothering environment, where pedestrians will walk around your table since literally the tables are occupying the street.
Fish and meet are grilled outside in the street so that your clothes may be given the flavour of the grill. Everything is cooked outside with questionable hygienic conditions.
Do not expect any kindness from the staff. More than serving they throw the plates on your table and hardly look at you in case you may want to order for anything.
Food is boring to the limit. Some one may claim that it is traditional Portuguese food but I must say that the visual impression of the different courses is definitely poor.
Staff will also act dishonestly with the bill. Sometimes charging for something that it was not order or sometimes applying different criteria...If you reject the butter, the bread and petiscos, they charge "the service". They will make sure that the bill will be not less than 15 EUR/person.
Depending on the day, you may have also an annoying bunch of flies and pigeons escorting your food.
Definitely, it is wiser to consider any other restaurant in the vicinity. It will be cheaper and more pleasant than this one. (I still cannot understand how restaurants like this one can continue making business because it has all the elements to be a failure)
