Myself and my partner stayed here for four nights in the months of September. Although only two of us this apartment had the capacity of holding an additional 3 people. For two people we found the apartment to be great value but could be amazing value if shared between more.
The apartment was very easy to get to from the airport. Subway all the way to Baixo-Chiado station (although one change over needed at Alameda). From here it's a short walk to the apartment. Just a few minute walk East of the apartment is all the lovely tiled shopping streets with highstreet shops and to the West there's the lovely old-town Alfama, the 28 tram and fabulous views of the city.
There's plenty to do in Lisbon and this apartment provides a great base. A little mini-mart shop around the corner means you can stock up for breakfast and other essentials (cheap wine) but make sure to leave room for eating out in the amazing restaurants Lisbon has to offer.
The apartment has all the utensils and home comforts you can need for a short stay. We had no complaints. The wifi is temperamental but there's no way that can reduce this 5 star rating as you don't go on City breaks for the internet.
Although we didn't get to meet Maria we spoke on the phone and were given great tips.
Great host, great city and we can highly recommend this apartment.
