We went to the Benfica Stadium complex to watch a basketball game in one of the side pavillions. It was Benfica-Porto and Benfica won! The whole area is very clean, there are security personnel a bit everywhere and these guys are very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of car parking available at a very cheap price. All in all a very positive experience.

I visited this stadium in a guided tour that includes also the Cosme Damiao museum, where you can see the trophies won by the club. It was one the best stadium tour I've ever seen(compared, for example with Barcelona, Milan, Amsterdam stadium tours). The guidance was very good, the guide very helpful, the tour includes almost all you want to see(the only thing that I would like to do and I couldn't was to climb to the highest point of the tribune). You'll see even the eagles that are the club's symbol(they are released before every football match to fly above the members of the public). The tour takes approximately one hour.

We went to watch Benfica V Boasita in Feb. What a game and what an atmosphere.I would highly recommend you to visit this stadium. I've been to many matches but this was probably one of the best because of the atmosphere. I had goosebumps. It was amazing to watch the Eagle do it's lap around the stadium.I would steer clear of the burger stands though. My burger was raw inside :-(

We have been at the biggest European arenas, stadium tours and clubs museums. This one, at Benfica, was one of the best. We were only 2 non-Portuguese speaking people in our group, but we gained enough attention from our very nice guide Bruno. When the person actually does, what he really likes, you can easily see it, because he does it very well! The only point we really missed at the tour was the home changing room. It's a pity. The rest was great and you can take pictures everywhere. Moreover they have a very unusual presentation with special glasses, which creates the atmosphere of presence at the match! Fabulous. Bruno, thank again!
We normally don't spend more than an hour at the clubs museums. Here we easily spent 2 hours. The museum is very unusual with many creative educational and design ideas and also interactive session for children. Really recommended. Must-do for any football fan
