Stayed there for 4 days in May. A typical 5 stat hotel, with attentive staff, especially in breakfast. Rooms have many amenities , but several feature i think that were mostly installed for impression instead of functionality, such as the electrical blinds in the bathroom. it also has a huge mirror tv with excellent speakers above the bed . It also has a nespresso machine and free bottles of water.
Make sure you go to the pool on 9th floor. Location wise, it's 10 minutes to Pombal square, from where you can catch the metro. I stayed in room 613 which was good. The only issue is that sound insulation from the road was poor, even on 6th floor.

Stayed 2 nights here and 1 night at the Altis Belem. Epic Sana was most definitely our favourite! It stood out for their wonderful staff who made our stay such an enjoyable experience. We particularly loved the fab outdoor pool terrace on the 9th floor (the sun loungers were so comfortable we struggled to tear ourselves away!) Rooms were very well equipped and modern, food in restaurant was excellent. Location was not bad, it only took us 10 mins to walk to the centre, and despite being uphill on way back we quite enjoyed the exercise to walk off our dinner! Would definitely stay again and would recommend. Excellent value for money.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel is only a year old and we were delighted with our choice. Understated luxury and friendly staff offering a first class service. I would highly recommend this hotel which has the added bonus of a swimming pool on the roof which is very welcome after a days sightseeing!

Room Tip: Higher floors facing the river

I gave this hotel a very good ranking because if you are not bothered about being located on a busy road with not much of a view to look out at, then its actually a really good hotel.

We arrived here for our mini moon and upon informing the concierge we were given strawberrys and champagne the following day in our room. We were hoping for an upgrade but can not complain because the rooms are spacious, modern, hi tech with plenty of storage. The shower is phenomenal and the mirrored TV is something i have never seen before. It was annoying watching TV with the curtains open as there was a terrible glare.

The cleaners were very friendly and is something i am normally weary of when i stay in hotels. The cleaners here were very nice and were available all day. You were allowed to have your room made up more than once in day from what i saw.

The rooftop pool area is very nice, small but comfortable. The same can be said for the lower ground pool spa area. Only flaw here is the water in the rooftop pool was freezing and we could not allow ourselves to go in at the fear of freezing even though it was pushing 30 degrees outside.

Breakfast could be improved greatly. There was no toaster so the staff would go and do this for you at the back. On one morning, i have no idea what on earth happened to our toast.
I like hotels that make you eggs in front of you. This was not the case here.
I wouldnt book the breakfast here if i were to stay again.

The location: Other than the nearby mall there isnt much at all going on here walking distance.

I found the bell boys and the cleaners the most friendliest and helpful. My husband lost his phone and one of the bell boys was willing to ring up all the taxi companies they used to try hut it down. No luck but appreciated his intention.
The concierge I think need a little training on their manners as they came across quite proud and in simple terms, stuck up.

I think this hotel would be good for a business stay or for a couple that may just want to utilise the amenities of a good hotel.

Room Tip: The road side rooms are noisier than the other side The sea view...if you can call it, is slightly...

We stayed here recently for four nights, having originally booked the Corinthia. However, when we arrived there we were told their system had double booked our room(s). We were naturally not thrilled at the prospect of being moved to a different hotel but once we arrived at the Epic Sana our concerns were almost immediately dispelled. What a fabulous place!
Very modern, with lovely, lovely rooms, great breakfasts and smashing spa and fitness facilities.
Ok, bedrooms first: spacious rooms, with large comfortable beds, gorgeous bathrooms and an absolute state of the art T.V. This is also pretty much the only hotel where I've been able to sleep with the air con on - normally it's too noisy. Speaking of noise, this place has to be one of the best insulated hotels I've ever stayed in (despite being next to a very busy road).
The staff were charming and helpful throughout and there seemed to be plenty of them around.
The selection at breakfast was huge and clearly had something for every possible taste, despite there being no brown sauce to accompany the cooked options (this is me being picky simply for the sake of it). We had one meal in the Switch restaurant, which was fine but, as is the case with all hotels of this standard, the drinks were expensive.
The hotel is not in the centre of Lisbon but is accessible by bus (service 711 or 783). The nearest metro is down the hill at Marques Pombal.
The spa facilities, as mentioned previously, are truly lovely and it's a shame we didn't have more spare time to make use of them.
It would be easy to eulogise endlessly about this terrific hotel but perhaps the best recommendation I can make is that I would be happy to recommend to my best friend without hesitation and, indeed, to anyone else!

Room Tip: I imagine all of the rooms here are as nice as our's was.

OMG, what an amazing stay we had with friends at the Epic Sana! From the front desk (they brilliantly sorted out an issue we had with another Sana hotel which overbooked us) to the restaurant staff, we have been amazed by their 5 stars customer service, their friendliness and their great professionalism.

Rooms: they are quite modern, the beds huge and very comfortable. They have excellent toiletries product and the best German shower we have EVER experienced anywhere we stayed!!

Facilities: the pool on the 9th floor is quite cold but the loungers + 4 posted bed loungers + settings are really cool with a great views on the river.
The indoor swimming pool is really nice and the spa area the biggest we have ever seen.

Food: The breakfast selection is just out of this world, you have everything you can dream about available and we enjoyed it greatly!!

Cons: The hotel itself is not located in town but taxis are around 5 euros to get into the centre.

Overall, a very nice hotel, well worth the price. It looks like a business hotel but the attention, the service and the quality provided makes it feel like a second home. We will gladly come back! Thank Sana for this EPIC stay in Lisbon!!!

Spent 4 days in Lisbon with family of 4 and stayed at the EPIC Sana. The hotel is not truly downtown, but within comfortable walking distance of the center. Taxis are relatively cheap in Lisbon so that's also a good mode of transportation. The hotel itself is a great place to stay with very good rooms, great wellness facilities and a very nice outside pool, lounge beds and bar on the 9th. Breakfast in the morning is a GREAT experience which holds something for all. What makes this restaurant truly outstanding is the level of service by the staff. Regardless if you deal with the reception staff, staff at the bar, restaurant or housekeeping; all are delivering an exceptional customer experience. Being active in town during the day, this hotel is a true oasis during an active city trip.
