I attended a conference held at the Epic Sana Hotel in April 2013. I did stay at another place therefore I like to judge on the conference facilities and the service in general. The Hotel itself is a nice piece of architecture with friendly staff in all areas. It has still to improve on the overall 5 Star experience - but it is a pre-opening therefore time will show. The quality of food needs to improve, the touch of service in general and value for money. My colleaque stayed at the Hotel for Euro 170 and that seems to be a bit high for a conference which helped them to get a few hundred people attracted - considering still unde per-opening flag.

It is rather new hotel, still it is very nice, we had the HITF on Apr 2013 in this hotel, nice rooms, very clean, staff is very friendly, something worth talking about is the personal touch I received from the front office manager when she attended to urgent requirement for pressing my shirt she picked it up her self from my room and made sure it was returned within 30 minutes.

Very bad experience in a very nice looking hotel. The hotel has been opened very recently and benefits on paper from ultimate technologies but reality is far from expectations. Food & Beverage (breakfast, restaurant, bar) quality is a real disaster, not reaching the minimum a 5 stars (even a 3 stars hotels) should offer. All the widgets (automatic curtains, multiple lights, bluetooth loud speakers, mirror TV) in the bedroom do not compensate the lack of amenities products in the bathroom (no tissue). Very difficult to switch off all the light, to get the requested temperature in the room. However the beds were very confortable. forget about the vew, unless you are on upper levels (7 and up( on rivver side. Nice spa on -2 but dark with limited natural light. A very nice swimming pool on the roof but access was close for the entire week, with no compensation. We were happy to be waken up by housekeeping at 8am on our departure day, with no excuse. At last - how strange - reception didn't ask us the traditional question : "did everything go well Sir?"

I arrived at Epic Sana and Portugal for the first time for a 3-day business trip. I didn't know what to expect, but only that I wanted to take a shower and get rest as I got to Lisbon in 16 hours and was tired. The moment we stepped out of the taxi I could see a grand and modern lobby. It was obviously a new hotel, but we found out quickly it had only opened a couple of weeks ago. The standard rooms were big in comparison to other hotels I've stayed in, clean, amenities and design of the room were very modern that came with a big and luxurious bathtub with quality amenities, Azzaro if I recall correctly. It was comforting to know that I would definitely get a good nights rest, and I did. Since we had time we wanted to do a half day tour of Lisbon, which the staff kindly arranged for, and saved us time from calling and making arrangements ourselves as well as helping in recommending a few local restaurants with local food. The hotel is quite central in an area with many 5 star hotels and a shopping centre not to far from it. However, I was there for a conference and found that their organisation for our event was excellent. Breakfast was a lavish display of fresh juices, fruits and local cheeses, breads and sweets and there was a very big selection for all dietary needs. In the rooms, they have a good selection of local and international channels. The room also had a N'espresso machine & selection of tea's & coffee's. The staff and services were excellent. If I ever do go to Lisbon for a holiday in the future, I'd definitely stay at Epic Sana. Guaranteed for a good rest and stay - I recommend it for anyone thinking of going to Portugal who wants a hotel thats clean, comfortable and central and only around a 20 minute ride from the airport.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a group of corporate Newcastle United supporters, travelling to Lisbon for the recent Benfica match (where we lost sadly)! Due to the nature of our visit, and only staying one night, we didn't get to see much of the city itself, but clearly this hotel isn't in the very centre of things which may not be to everyone's taste. However, EVERYTHING about this hotel is fantastic and I would say well worth staying here even if it is a little bit further out!!! I have stayed at a number of Five Star hotels, both in this country and abroad, but this has been the best so far in my experience. The interior communal areas are fabulous, everywhere, both inside and outside. The bar area is incredibly spacious and a fantastic place to relax. All the staff are wonderful - friendly, polite, total professionals who actually look happy to help you and happy to have you stay in their hotel! The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, in fact, I have never stayed anywhere quite so spotless ever! Now to the room - FANTASTIC! We stayed in a twin standard, and if this was the standard room I can't imagine what a superior room must be like! Huge bathroom with wonderful facilities, the biggest bath I have ever seen and wonderful shower. Plenty of storage space in the room with the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The room was really nicely decorated and very spacious too. I am running out of adjectives to describe how fantastic this hotel really is. I would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Lisbon and we certainly intend to make a return trip, not only to visit this city and see it's charms properly but also to have another opportunity to stay at this hotel again, for a longer stay this time too!

This hotel has just begun his soft opening and already has everything to become one of the best 5* hotels in Lisbon.
Not the best situation if you want to be in the very center of the city and the surroundings may not be the more glamorous, but the interior architecture and decoration make you forget all of this.
The reception area and lobby are grand but with quiet luxury. The lobby bar will be a must for tourists and locals pretty soon.
In the 9th floor a outdoor infinity pool with a nice view of the river and another bar will captivate all users
The Spa and Gym as a beautiful indoor pool and the locker rooms are top quality.
Nice sauna with two glass walls and the hamman is quite big.
The rooms are as expected. Confortable. Clean. Perfect size. The bathtub is huge and the materials of the batroom are very good. Great Azzaro amenities.
The restaurant is also great in it's decorations: sober luxury.
But it's in the quality of service with a very young but very well trained and managed staff that this hotel will probably be a hit. All of the staff was very polite and diligent. Always trying to genuinelly please without imposing.
Overall a great stay and recomended

Room Tip: River view rooms are the best. City view may feel a bit depressing...
