We were really expecting a magnificent palace. After all, the president of Portugal lives there.
However, we were met by a very neglected pinkish façade, which fails to impress even when watched from a distance.
There were no tours available when we visited, and the museum within the palace was not open to the public in that day.
No need to waste time on this place while in Belém.
