While I don't quite understand the level of hyperbole in some of the other reviews, we had a pleasant evening at Xapuri. The food is interesting and stylishly presented, the interior design is quirky and the waiting staff were friendly and efficient.
The food is probably best described as Mediterranean tapas, with quite a lot of Italian inspired dishes. NB that the descriptions were sometimes quite misleading - what was described as focaccia was actually more of a take on bruschetta but none the less tasty for that. And there are a few vegetarian dishes, which can be a blessing in Lisbon.
So this is definitely worth trying if you want a break from traditional Portuguese food.
