This is another restaurant from the famous chef Kiko who has a couple of great restaurants in Lisboa like A Cevicheria, O Talho, O Watt and O Asiático. You can find O Surf & Turf in the Mercado da Ribeira. Don't look for it in the central area because it is situated in the side corridor. It's less crowded and noisy there. O Surf & Turf has a terrace but you can also sit at the counter inside. The food is excellent. Every dish is full of flavours and the presentation is pretty as well. We decided to go for Taco de Tártaro d'O Talho & Nori, Ceviche d'A Cevicheria & Pipocas de Porco, Bacalhau & Chouriço and Croquetes de Cozido à Portuguesa & Maionese de Anchovas. All these dishes were amazing. The restaurant still has a lot of room for improvement on the service side of the business. The waiters were really unorganised and lacklustre. One guy did nothing, he was playing with his smartphone and just ignored the customers. Some tables were given bread others not. Our 4 dishes came all at the same time. When we payed we didn't get any change. They automatically assume that the difference is their tip. This all changed when chef Kiko arrived. The chef looks like a sympathetic guy and knows how to handle people. Conclusion: great food but I prefer A Cevicheria as a complete lunch or dinner experience.
