Great food and very fresh. Make sure you dont miss the outer restaurants as they have excellent seafood. Train station near by and 10 minutes brisk walk from waterfront area. Go off peak 3-4pm.

Within 5 days trip we managed to go back twice here. It's a great place if you want to try a variety of modern cuisine from popular city eateries all under one roof. We went both times for lunch. Despite a huge place, it can be totally packed by 11. The crowd really only disperses by 3ish. It will take some time to find seats and big groups won't get a chance to sit all together.

Lots of food choices and a chilled atmosphere.

Very lively place, huge, lots of restaurants, amazing smells all around, happy groups of friends all over. Yet very crowded, we circled it a few times and were forced to leave as our child was too hungry to wait for us to get a place to sit. We were quite sorry for not eating there. Seems a better place for groups of friends.

Very hipster place with a variety of different self-service counters. Positive is the selection which offers something for every taste. We tried the pasteis de nata which were good. Besides that we didn’t want to spend more time there as it‘s quite loud and airs a greasy smell.

We stayed very close to this place and we had dinner a couple of times . Surf and Turf and one pizza place which was good and not very expensive.

Great multi national atmosphere. Lots of different foods and drinks to sample. Busy but we didn’t have too much trouble getting a table. The burger was the best we’ve had in a long time! The wine merchant let me taste several before choosing a bottle to buy!

Great re-introduction to the food hall experience. Well curated food kiosks - food from all over Portugal and Europe, with some easy casual dining choices for everyone. THE BEST GARLIC SHRIMP DISH HERE IN PORTUGAL! This makes organising a group dinner incredibly easy. Great food for everyone, bar kiosks make for easy drinks, big communal tables, fun atmosphere. Great night.

It´s too crowded. I Had to wait quite long to be served. Also, the prices are ok, but a little higher than the average local restaurants, and it´s still Fast food in the majority of cases. But it´s ok to visit.

To get a sense of today's Lisbon, visit Time Out market where the locals come to hang. It's a bit like Chelsea Market in NY, where you can try food/drinks from a variety of chefs - but afterwards you can sit at a common table and socialize/chitchat. The quality of food is top notch (a lot of Michelin rated chefs) and the experience is one not to miss!

It's good for a walk-in after you come from the station or Belem for example to have a look, but food is certainly extremely overprised here and the noisy admosphere doesn't really invites for a long stay. Just my idea, others might love the variety and openness ...
