I was on a business trip, good hotel, clean and quiet room, good breakfast, friendly staff, no complaints. Bed was firm like some other have stated but it wasnt a problem, good location also, good business hotel.

Room Tip: higher floors i guess

The hotel is a good quality place to stay while on business. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and public spaces were well maintained and clean. Only downside was the beds were very firm. We used cabs to get around and the location on a major street made getting one easy.

We stayed for 4 nights. Air bus stop right outside and close to the nearest metro, and just a 15 minute walk to Rossio. 10-15 minutes to Gulbenkian museum. Very clean, decent sized room, but ours was rather noisy as overlooking the main road.. Very hard bed. Breakfasts ok but chaotic on one day (Saturday morning) when the staff were overwhelmed by the number of guests. A 10 minute wait for lifts also that morning. Reception staff tried hard but we found that some of the information given (transport options, cost of travel) was simply wrong. And the real showstopper for brits abroad - no tea / coffee facilities in the room.

I recently returned from this hotel and booked it after reading the reviews on here and because of its rating. However I definitely would not return as it is quite bland and characterless even if it is in a good location. It is about a fifteen minute walk to Rossio station and restaurants and bars, also just minutes from the hop on hop off buses and the airport bus stops just outside the hotel. The breakfast is wonderful with lots of choice and there is a piano player in the bar. However the bar prices are very expensive charging 10 euros for a vodka and tonic and 16 euros for a small brandy. Prices much cheaper everywhere else.
The main problem with the hotel is the bedrooms which are stiflingly hot and having extremely hard mattresses, which resulted in my colleague crying as she could not get any sleep during our trip. We advised the staff of this problem and they advised her that all the rooms are the same and gave her an extra duvet to sleep on which did not resolve the problem. You do not expect this from a four star hotel and to add to the problem the air conditioning was extremely loud. My friend eventually ended up paying an extra 115 euros on the last night for another room just so she could get some sleep as it contained a different type of bed apparently. Why were we not advised of this on the first night? I will return to Lisbon for another visit but will give this hotel a miss as the rooms are so disappointing in terms of comfort!

Room Tip: Twin rooms have very uncomfortable beds

Just back from city break in Lisbon. I can find very little to fault this hotel. Staff were so polite and helpful. They went that bit further that separates a great hotel from a good hotel.

Room was big and spacious. Bed was huge. Bathroom was very nice. Well stocked mini bar and tv, was I think a 40ft flat screen built into the wall with at least 5 English speaking channels plus a sports station which showed all the football.

Breakfast was buffet style with a lot of selections although coming from Ireland the bacon & sausages is not what I would be used too plus a little bit cold but that can be said for most continental countries I have experienced .. Coffee was delicious.

The hotel has a gym which I used twice early in the morning. It has 2 treadmills, 2 bicycles, 2 cross trainers, weights, sauna, steam room and whirlpool.

The bar at night has a piano player to keep your ears busy whilst enjoying a drink with free nibbles.

The location of the hotel is perfect for a city trip. Close to metro. Less than €10 by taxi to airport plus a very nice 25 minute walk to the center of town.

I would stay in this hotel in a heartbeat again. I have no really negative remarks to say but would suggest maybe the hotel has more tourist flyers on restaurants, sights etc.

Great hotel

Room Tip: From other tips on this forum I asked for a room up high and at back of hotel to avoid main road. I...

stayed in this hotel for four nights in March for Eures Training. Food was the best Hotel food I ever had seriously. Attention to detail was perfect. The staff in this hotel are so pleasant and professional. Could not say anything negative about Hotel. Convenient to the Metro and minutes walk to El Cortes Ingles shopping store.

Room Tip: Everything perfect

We have just had a weekend break at the Sana Lisboa Hotel, we booked early and got a great deal for our double room (including breakfast) in this 4 star hotel. Great location for all Lisbon sightseeing very close to the metro which links you to the airport and close to the sighseeing buses terminal. Nearby good restaurants were close by. The Breakfast was great good selection of both hot & cold options, pleanty of it and good quality. Hotel bar was a bit pricey 5.50 euros for a small beer was a bit steep. Hotel staff were excellent and the hotel and room was well decorated and very clean.
