Excellent service from arrival. The room is a bit on the small side but we were on the 19th floor so had a good view of lisbon. It is conveniently located near the metro station, and takes about 10 minutes to get to the centre.

The breakfast was amazing. Lots of choice and even have cooked to order omlettes and waffles. Would stay again

This is an expensive hotel. They told us they could not book us a room without a breakfast included (25 euro/person) when in fact they easily could have done so. When we asked them to book a restaurant, they booked us at a restaurant which served us the most expensive dinner we had in all of Portugal and Spain combined. We would not recommend this hotel as good value but the facilities are good.

This hotel is close to the financial district so has relatively cheap rates (if you look for them) at weekends. We went on a bed and breakfast basis and were impressed with our taste of five star luxury. The two main reservations were the slow lifts and the price of everything that wasn't included. People have complained that it isn't near the centre of Lisbon, but this has its advantages. It is near the Gulbenkian Museum and Gardens, the former being free on Sundays and where a lot of local people go just to eat lunch then. It is also a bit less crowded and noisy. The Metro is about 5 minutes walk away and is easy to use. Likewise there are a few cheaper eateries and a supermarket within a few minutes walk.
Certainly not worth the full price but is worth considering as an alternative to 3* hotels near the castle which have a similar weekend rate.

We had a lovely stay at Corinthia. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Our room had outstanding view, marble bathrooms, heated mirror in the bathroom so it doesn't fog up, comfortable bed and it was quiet. I liked the style and overall quality of furnishing. The Wi-Fi was free and fast. The spa was exceptional, treatments excellent! We went there 2 times during our 4 night stay (The weather was not so good). We did not try the hotel restaurant, but ate 2 times in the Lounge area. Tasty food and very good coffee. Corinthia hotel also has a lovely garden and terrace. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy this because of rain. When I got home I discovered that the receptionist at check-out had made a mistake. I was charged for about 50 euro more than I should. I immediately contacted the front desk, problem solved and amount returned to my credit card the next day. Great service!

On the downside is location, but this did not bother us. The location is a bit removed from the downtown area, but near the airport and metro. Taxi to/from the airport is 10-15 euros. Calculate 15 minutes by metro to the old town. Pool is small and the gym has only cardio machines and a few manuals.

We would definitely consider coming here again.

At first glance it appears to be a long way from the action, but with the metro literally around the corner you'll find yourself in the centre in around 12 minutes, which is not too bad.

We got put on the sixteenth floor (room 1615), after reading another review which commented on the view of the city on high floors. This was good advice, as on a clear day the view is absolutely stunning, incorporating the 25th April bridge and the Cristo-Rei statue behind it in the distance.

The hotel itself has the best equipped gym I've ever seen and the friendly, professional staff are willing to go the extra mile to accommodate any questions or issues that arise. For this high level of customer service they must really be applauded.

The only gripe I have is that for a five star hotel you would expect the rooms to be soundproofed. However, noise from above and the side was evident, and the sound of water flowing through pipes in adjacent rooms was also a factor.

We didn't complain. We weren't in the room enough for it to be a major issue, but it is something that others might not be as tolerant about.

We didn't have breakfast, lunch or dinner at the hotel, but the evening buffet looked very good.

I was on a conference there last week and it was a very nice venue for the meeting. Rooms were nicely furnished, water was available everywhere. I was not sure about pencils instead of pens as a giveaway. Food was ok. The hotel is conveniently located. You better take the metro, though. Taxis in the morning are not very fast...

We have spent at the Corinthia 3 days for a quite large partner event with about 70 participants. The service was just perfect; we always had someone around who could support and assist with any question. Additionally we had a very lovely lady dedicated only for our group. The food, service and timing with serving the coffee & meals in general was overall excellent. Meeting room equipment was not brand-new but very clean and the equipment suited our needs. Location: really good situated, 10 taxi minutes away from the airport with a nice view of the city.
Thank you - will be a pleasure to get back with any further event.
