Stayed at Corinthean Hotel for 3 nights on a business trip (Sept 2013). It has 5* and it probably deserves it (as they so often don't). Service is exemplary, staff are great, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and comfortable and well equipped, WiFi was good and I had no issues. Not much in the area for a stroll but 15 minutes by taxi to the airport was useful.

We were a party of 6 and booked 3 rooms for 4 nights. Excellent value for the rate we paid through a discount website. Hotel is modern, large and roomy. A short walk to the metro and just 6 stops (10 minute) metro ride to the historic center. Hop- on Hop-off tour buses also stop nearby. Hotel staff was very helpful. Would stay hear again.

Spent a long weekend in wonderful Lisbon in November last year for my birthday. It's very easy to find it as it's just outside the tube station, however it is not very close to main attractions in the city centre - you need to take the tube for few stops for this.
The room was very nice and clean, wireless working ok,plenty to choose from for breakfast and as you would expect in a 4-5 star hotel full and overpriced minibar :)
There is a very nice restaurant in the hotel but we didn't try it as we preferred the traditional, small family run restaurant in the ''old town''

Dear Guest,

Thank you for sharing your opinion with other traveler regarding your experience at Corinthia Hotel Lisbon.

Although we are indeed not centrally located, Lisbon’s very efficient public transport system is in close proximity and our 24-hour limousine service offer very good access to the city. The Corinthia Hotel Lisbon is located in the financial district of Lisbon, which is a quiet area for guests to relax from a stressful and exciting day.

We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in a perfectly crafted experience.

We visited Corinthia Lisbon for the first time at Easter 2012 and were so impressed that we returned for Easter 2013.

The staff were excellent as before and good enough to track down and reserve the same room we had on our previous visit.

We stayed in an executive club room on the 22nd floor and enjoyed wonderful views across the Roman Aqueduct and the bridges across the Tagus. This view is truly impressive at night when the lights of the city and the bridges across the water beyond are hypnotizing. Sit back with a good glass of port from the minibar and enjoy !

At the hotel we enjoyed again the excellent breakfast and all day snacks and drinks in the executive club on the 24th floor. We also rounded off our busy days of sightseeing with a relaxing visit to the hotel swimming pool.

It is true that the hotel is not in the city centre but convenient connections from the nearby metro station make this irrelevant. From here we made day trips to the Lisbon Aquarium, the city and the wonderful mountain town of Sintra.

We already look forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: Book an executive club room if possible. In many cases a little extra expense will add greatly to th...

We stayed at the Cortinthia in March, 2013, and are planning to return to Lisbon and the same hotel very soon. We really adored our stay! We had been upgraded to a Junior Suite, with an excellent view over the city. The suite was very big elegantly furnished and we just loved the comfortable beds.
We really liked the excellent service at this hotel and its location in the centre, close to the metro.
We visit Lisbon at least once every year and from now on there will be no other hotel for us!

Room Tip: Why don't you give yourself a present? Upgrade to a Junior Suite!

Good place to stay when exploring the city. Quite a newish hotel and so everything is clean and modern. Nothing too special, but still a comfortable place to stay.

Buffet dinner was good ...good selection and interesting mix of tapas food.

Nice pool (although bit odd that they insisted we wear swimming caps !?).

Recommended.

We had a package which included a large corner room on 18th floor (two big windows, fabulous city views), access to executive lounge and business centre - and lots of extra fuss from staff (reminded me of the Pamela Stevenson American Express sketch - over 50´s might remember it!). Our room had a good-sized desk and comfortable work chair, two sofas, easy chairs and large coffee table. Lighting was OK but could have been brighter. Carpeting on the floor but it was clean and slippers were provided, also had dressing gowns. A hairdryer in the wardrobe could be plugged in to one of the sockets in the room - but there were no mirrors nearby. Bathroom was a little dated with a fixed shower head over the bath and the less-fit might have a job getting in and out - no grab rail. Luxury quality towels and bedding, however the bed was fairly soft and we would have liked more support. Excellent soundproofing, we watched the planes coming in low but didn´t hear a thing. Really good breakfast in the peaceful executive lounge, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Can recommend the metro a few minutes walk away for getting in and out of town.

Room Tip: Corner suite on 18th floor is expensive but worth it for peace and quite and fabulous views.
