Once you pay a visit to this restaurant-bar, you will realize how many times you've been taken to cleaners by restaurants using the term "fresh seafood" in their advertisement. As far as freshness is concerned, this is it !! Portugal has a long and illustrious tradition of professional fishing fleets. And, of course, being in Lisbon, so near to the coast, you can expect to get fresh seafood when you order it. Although most restaurants in Lisbon respect this great tradition, what sets Ramiro way above the others is the way the handle and prepare their large variety of seafood dishes. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of their cuisine. Do not lhe 180 yards wait line intimidate you. Order some beer or wine to drink while you wait. IT IS WORTH the wait. And please, do not forget to enjoy the rather unusual "dessert" of the house: a steak sandwich. :Locals claim that this peculiar custom is explained by realizing that the best way to annotate in your brain an memory how great a seafood meal to just had, is to have a great portuguese style steak sandwich,

The food is about the best seafood in Lisbon. It is a pitty the service leaves much to be desired. The waiters are rude and they take hours to serve you.

Booked this restaurant for a family dinner as our last night holiday in Lisbon. It was so packed when we arrived and people were waiting on the pavement. I thought it was going to be a nightmare but it turned out to be another fantastic meal.

The majority of food they serve here is shellfish, and it’s really high quality fish. It looked expensive on the menu (on an ipad) but the total bill was reasonable. The waiters recommended some of the fishes and they didn’t try to rip people off.

All the shellfish were cook in very simple way and they were very tasty. Service was so friendly they even played with my nephew. Such a great find and I can’t wait to go back.

Everything is a la carte. It's straight up seafood. Kind pricey but worth it. I was in line at 10pm and waited for an hour by myself but it was worth it. I had boiled rock lobster and shrimp with garlic butter. There is no reservations. It's two floors. You should look at the menu online because it will speed things up when you do order.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. Although we had to walk a bit and wait outside of the restaurant for about 25 minutes (it was THAT busy), it was absolutely worth it! This restaurant serves fresh and authentic sea food, the staff are extremely efficient and we did not wait for our starters for more than 5 minutes after ordering. I like the fact that they have multilingual menu on tablets, which really made our order simple. Glad we asked to try something less touristy, one should definitely pay a visit to this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the wine and the atmosphere here. A real experience for people who like to explore something local and go a bit traditional. It does not look like a fancy restaurant, more like an eatery, but the food quality and ambiance justifies its ratings and I think the prices are appropriate for fresh sea food.
