Went here after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor - so glad we did!! There was 5 of us that went, and we luckily booked a table before hand. We arrived at 6pm and sat down straight away with some bread. Don't know why one of the previous reviewers slated the "old tablet device" - it told you what you needed to know, it wasn't an iPad but it worked!!

We ordered an "Edible Crab" (Its actually listed on the menu as this) and shared that between 2 people, which the waiter, who didn't really speak English, pointed out that it was enough for 2 - the other people ordered the Prawns in Garlic (which came out sizzling and smelt lovely) and the last person had the Giant Tiger Prawns - he had to wait a little while for those, but it was well worth the wait.

The restaurant itself is very busy and well run for a slightly smaller sized restaurant - overall was a good experience and we were very glad we went - although, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who doesn't really like fish, as this is pretty much all they sell, apart from a Steak Sandwich, which is the only variant on the menu.

Would definetly recommend this to anyone going to Lisbon! Oh and the manager is very helpful, grabbed 2 taxi's for us when we asked if he could tell us where the nearest taxi rank was.

If you are looking for Lisbon's best marisco (seafood), atmosphere and drinks then this is your place. I have been here a few times now and I continue to love it! My only criticism is the price nowadays and the people are ALL TRIPADVISOR savy! The secret it out!

The place is worth a visit. After eating at a few high end places in Lisbon, we were looking for something traditional and local. Ramiro's is all about seafood simply prepared but tasty. The clams in garlic was excellent, as was the shrimp. The crab is also popular and good. The place seems to serve a mix of locals and tourists but to the extent tourists are there, it still feels authentic. Our waiter spoke no English, was quick, efficient and friendly. Ordering is easy, either by pointing to what you see around you or they have an i-pad which has their menu. You click the button for English and you see pictures of the food items with descriptions. We showed up early for Lisbon -- about 6:00 -- and got a table right away. By the time we left, about an hour later, there were a few people waiting for tables. If we had another night or day in Lisbon, we might have tried to eat here again.

We ordered gambas a la aguillo and lavagante.
Menu was displayed on old tablet devices - maybe because staff don't speak English.
Side dish / starter arrived quickly, however we had to wait very long for the lobster.
This place was very crowded and very noisy.
There were too many tables in a small space.
The food tasted average. High price to quality.
We were expecting something extraordinary.

Perfect seaford in a fun setting. We went in early August, got there early (being Americans) and were glad we did. Waiters were helpful and fun. Food was just what seafood should be. Trust everyone who said go there... go there and enjoy.
