Best way to make a tour of the old city for just 1,20 euros, or the 24-hour all-transportation ticket for 6 euros. Especially liked the night ride.

I rode this tram to and from the castle and groups of young men were repeatedly jumping on, walking through the car, and getting off at the next stop. The same groups did this on the way up and down. The tram is 90% tourists so the haul must rack up through the day.

The narrow streets were interesting to ride through though, just a shame you can't relax and enjoy the ride.

For the price of a tram ticket you can travel in one of the old fashioned Lisbon trams passing through all the historic areas of the capital. Very enjoyable.

Visiting Lisbon, you should not miss a trip with the famous Tram Nr. 28. Starting from the center of town ( P.L.do Camoes), you should go west to visit the Cemiterio dos Prazeres ( the most impressive cemetery, I ever visited). From Prazeres, the tram takes you across the city along most attractions of Lisbon to the other side of town to Graca. On your way, you pass the basilica of Estrela, the Bairo Alto, the Chiado, the Baixa, and the Castelo de Sao Jorge.

this tram brings you through the winding cobbled streets of old lisbon. Recommend to take the tram up and walk down the stunning views of old streets of Lisbon with daily lifes of the locals
