“Historical Lisboa”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

A trip with the Tram 28 seems to be a MUST when visiting Lisboa.
Make sure to start your trip at the terminus (e.g. Martim Moniz, accessible by metro) because you may not get a chance to sit down if you start it anywhere else.
It's interesting to see this old tram in action and you get a nice trip through Lisboa.
But: Take care of your belongings!

“You won´t complaine on trafic back home after this.”

Nice ride around old town Lisbon. Does probably take longer time than walking, but it´s quite an experience. Many stops due to people parked on the tram rails and wating for them to move the cars.

“you have to take it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

Fortunately we hit this on a day we could sit down .I don't think I'd do it otherwise. It's a good way to gain perspective on this hilly hard to walk in city.Purportedly it attracts pick pockets and when you see it go by with seats packed like a sardine can , you can believe it.I think the highlight of this tram ride is going through the narrow hilly Alfama streets- where to your utter disbelief people actually drive!

“Skip the tram, walk it instead”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

The tram is the hype. You'll see and experience much more if you just walk it. Let yourself get lost in the maze of little streets. Don't worry, you won't be lost for long and you'll be far richer for the experience. You might be amazed at what you find :-)

“Good Overview”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2012

Took you through a lot of the more historical parts of Lisbon. Good to appreciate the Portuguese style of parking where blocking a tramline seemed like acceptable behaviour. Got really busy and can see how pickpockets can thrive.
