If you're looking for a quiet rest from the busy sightseeing at the Chiado and Bairro Alto area, this is the place to go.

There's a nice seating area, with mismatched furniture, and a country-like ambiance, perfect to lounge for a while. There's a wide selection of teas and hot beverages and delicious scones or other pastry to go with them.

A nice contrast to the bar and restaurant filled area, nice for families and business as well.

After I saw the name of this place, I was sure that finally I'd be able to find a selection of teas on the menu. To my surprise, they had just a few simple ones - no Japanese Sencha, no good Chinese teas, no pure Rooibos; most of their teas were infusions... When it came to choosing some dessert, it turned out they had only two cakes - some chocolate one and a cheesecake, plus some pastry. I ordered the cheesecake, which had nothing to do with its name but looked and tasted more like just whipped cream. A disgrace! There were only a couple of tables occupied at that time, but the service was very slow. Even the nice interior couldn't improve the impression about this cafe after all. I'll definitely not recommend it to tea- and dessert-lovers, and it was my first and last time there!

Beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. Great coffee. Nice desserts. Free WiFi. Reasonable prices. What else could you want in a cafe?

Tucked away on a side street, this treat deserves to thrive. Good, but inexpensive coffee and lovingly crafted toasted sandwiches. Followed by fabulous chocolate cake - and the other cakes looked great as well. Friendly staff, quirky, laid back decor and atmosphere.

We happened to stumble upon this hidden gem when we were aimlessly wondering the streets of Lisbon. The decor was inviting with its charming furniture and a relaxed ambiance. The food was ridiculously cheap and the quality of food was supurb. I would highly recommend trying the banana, chicken and cheese toasted sandwiches. I wouldn't usually try this but because it was on the menu I ordered it and was not disappointed. It was unlike anything I have ever tasted, really really good. The apple pie and scones were also delicious.

10/10 a must in Lisbon.
